Carlos is an early adopter of generative AI technologies and a seasoned creative leader with over 20 years of experience in advertising and design. He spent 20 years as Executive Creative Director at startups, global agencies, and consultancies (Ogilvy, VML, Cossette, McCann, Deloitte and others.) Over the past three years, he has utilized advanced AI tools to innovate content creation and marketing strategy. His efforts to empower brands and agencies to leverage AI-powered solutions, seamlessly merging creativity with technology, have been instrumental in setting new industry standards.

He has developed AI-powered solutions for brands such as Coca-Cola, Rogers Communications, Burger King and Mondelez, employing optimized workflows, automation, and innovative creative approaches. Carlos is a Creative Partner and Advisor to several generative AI companies, including LumaLabs, Topaz, PimentoAI, KaliberAI, and NIM. He is also the founder and co-director of aiTO.network, a Toronto-based, generative AI directors and enthusiasts’ user group.

In 2024, MIT certified Carlos in Applied Generative AI for Digital Transformation, further affirming his expertise and leadership for generative AI solutions.
